Export Steps
Log In to Genesis
Open your browser and navigate to your Genesis Chiropractic practice URL. Enter your admin credentials and click "Log In". Genesis is a cloud-based platform — no desktop installation is required.
Tip:
You need Admin or Office Manager permissions to access reporting features. Provider-only logins may not show the Reports section.
Navigate to Reports
Click "Reports" in the top navigation bar. The reports dashboard will open, showing available report categories.
Select Patient Report
In the Reports center sidebar, click "Patients". This expands the Patients report category. Then click "Patient List" — this is the primary patient roster report in Genesis Chiropractic Software.
Set Filters and Date Range
In the report parameters, set Patient Status to "All" to capture both active and inactive patients. Genesis Chiropractic uses "Discharged" for patients who have stopped care — make sure this status is included. Set the Clinic field to "All Clinics" if you have multiple locations. Click "Generate Report".
Tip:
Genesis uses "Discharged" for patients who have stopped care — these are high-value reactivation targets for MedMasters.
Export to CSV
After the report loads, click the "Export" button in the upper-right corner of the results table. Select "CSV" from the export format dropdown. The file will download to your default downloads folder.
Send to MedMasters
Upload the exported CSV using the secure MedMasters upload link provided by your account manager.
Note:
Do not email patient data. Always use the secure MedMasters upload portal.

Known Quirks
Genesis may call inactive patients "Discharged" — both Active and Discharged should be exported
Multi-clinic Genesis accounts can filter by individual clinic locations in the report settings
Pro Tips
Genesis has strong billing and insurance data — payer type is usually well-populated
The platform is workflow-oriented, so reports are found under the Reports module, not embedded in the Patients section
