Cloud-based dental practice management by Planet DDS
Log in to CareStack
Go to app.carestack.com and sign in with your admin credentials. CareStack is a fully cloud-based dental platform by Planet DDS — no desktop installation is needed.
Tip:
You need Admin or Front Desk Manager permissions to access the reporting module. Provider-only logins may not see the Reports section in the sidebar.
Navigate to Reports
Click "Reports" in the left sidebar. The CareStack Reports hub will open, showing report categories across the top: Patient, Financial, Insurance, Clinical, and Scheduling.
Open Patient Reports
In the Reports hub, click the "Patient" tab at the top. This filters the available reports to patient-related categories. Locate "Patient List" in the list of available Patient reports.
Open the Patient List Report
Click "Patient List" from the Patient reports list. This report shows all patients across your practice with name, contact, status, and last-visit data.
Configure Filters and Export
In the report filter panel, set Patient Status to "All" (not just "Active") to capture both active and inactive patients. Set Location to "All Locations" if you have multiple offices. Click "Generate Report" to run it, then click "Export to CSV" once the results appear.
Tip:
Selecting "All" for status gives you both active and inactive patients in one file — MedMasters will handle the segmentation.
Send to MedMasters
Upload the downloaded CSV using the secure MedMasters upload link provided by your account manager.
Note:
Do not email patient data. Always use the secure MedMasters upload portal.
