Open Atlas on the Server Workstation
Atlas is installed locally on a server workstation. Sign in on that machine — exports cannot be triggered remotely.
Open Tools → Data Export
Click "Tools" in the top menu, then "Data Export Wizard". Choose "Patient Demographics" as the export type.
Configure Filters and Run
Set Status to "All" or "Active". Pick fields to include — at minimum select First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, Last Visit. Click "Run Export". The CSV is saved to a folder you choose.
Note:
Atlas exports to a local folder, not a download. Note the folder path the wizard shows you.
Run the Visit History Export
For visit count and last-visit date, run a second export: Tools → Data Export Wizard → "Visit History". This produces a separate CSV that you can join by patient ID.
Send via Secure Upload Link
Upload the file using the secure link your MedMasters account manager provided. Do not email the CSV file directly — patient contact data must be transmitted securely.
Note:
Never send patient data as a plain email attachment. Patient data sent over unencrypted email violates HIPAA. Use only the secure upload link provided by MedMasters.
Which MedMasters data fields are available in this EHR export.
Local-server install — only one user at a time can run an export to avoid file lock conflicts.
Multi-file: demographics and visit history are separate CSVs that must be joined by patient ID.
Run both exports back-to-back so the patient IDs align cleanly.
Atlas saves exports to its local data folder — copy them to a secure location before sharing.
Got your export? Now what?
The Storage & Handoff Playbook covers verifying, securing, and using the data for compliance, migration, or analytics.
