Online scheduling and client management by Squarespace
Log In to Acuity Scheduling
Open your browser and go to acuityscheduling.com. Click "Log In" and enter your email and password. Acuity is a Squarespace product — if your account is linked to Squarespace, use your Squarespace credentials.
Tip:
You need Admin access to export the full client list. Staff logins with limited permissions may not see the export option.
Navigate to the Clients Tab
In the left sidebar, click "Clients". This opens the Acuity client directory with all clients who have ever booked with your practice.
Click "Import/export" then "Export client list"
At the top of the client list, click the "Import/export" link. A menu will expand — click "Export client list". Acuity will generate and download a CSV file of all clients.
Tip:
Acuity exports all clients regardless of status — active and inactive are both included by default. No filter adjustments are needed.
Review the Downloaded File
Open the CSV in Excel and verify the columns. Acuity typically exports: First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, and the date of the most recent appointment. Note that Acuity does not have an explicit "Active/Inactive" status field — last appointment date is used instead.
Tip:
For Acuity clients, MedMasters determines "active" vs "inactive" based on last appointment date — no status field is needed from the export.
Send to MedMasters
Upload the downloaded CSV using the secure MedMasters upload link provided by your account manager.
Note:
Do not email client data. Always use the secure MedMasters upload portal.
Which MedMasters data fields are available in this EHR export.
Acuity does not have an "Active / Inactive" patient status field — MedMasters uses last appointment date as a proxy
Acuity is a scheduling tool, not a full EHR — clinical notes and treatment details are not included in the export
Phone numbers are sometimes missing if clients booked without providing them
Acuity's export is fast and simple — one click from the Clients tab
If your medspa uses Acuity for scheduling alongside a separate EMR (e.g., for clinical notes), export from both systems for the most complete dataset
Clients who booked via Acuity's public booking page are included — no manual entry required

Configure Per-Calendar Sync Options
For each Acuity calendar you have, select your preferred syncing direction and options from the settings panel.
Save and Verify
Click "Save." Your Acuity appointments will begin appearing in Google Calendar immediately. Test by creating a booking and confirming it shows in Google.
• Two-way sync: Acuity appointments appear in Google Calendar and Google events block Acuity availability.
• Google Calendar typically shows updates immediately after changes in Acuity.
• Non-class appointments sync automatically. Classes sync only once at least one client has booked — each attendee appears as an individual appointment in Google.
• When you disconnect the sync, already-synced appointments remain in Google Calendar unless manually deleted.
